Power of $10
Imagine a child going to bed hungry, struggling to focus in school because their stomach is growling. This is the harsh reality for far too many children in our community. Ready. Set. GO! weekend food bag program steps in where school lunches leave off. Every week, school counselors discreetly distribute food bags for over 200 local elementary students. These bags are packed with kid-friendly meals and snacks, ensuring every child returns to the classroom Monday nourished, happy and ready to learn.
Give $10 or more today - this provides one child with food for an entire weekend. Make it reoccurring monthly to support a child year long.
Host a Food Drive
Our Ready. Set. GO! Weekend Food Bag program provides essential, non-perishable, kid-friendly meals to children and families facing food insecurity. The program runs during school breaks and holidays, when access to nutritious meals is limited. Donations of specific food items for the bags are always needed, and anyone can help by hosting a food drive—whether it’s a book club, family, athletic team, business, or church group. Together, we can make sure no child goes hungry.
